Susan E. Brown, Allied Member ASID, Green AP is an interior designer whose experience in residential interior desgn and textile science has created a balance of aesthetics and function throughout her work. During her many years of creating interiors for her clients, she has developed a unique style, blending contemporary and classical elements. Her trademark approach to interiors results in design that is at once sophisticated and personal.

Practice - To educate my clients on their choices and to present the benefits of using sustainable and recycled products and utilizing companies with sustainable practices. To buy products from companies/organizations whose employees work in safe/healthy working conditions with an adequate living wage.

Internal Office Sustainability Efforts

- Recycling paper, metal and glass

- Using air conditioning and lighting only when needed

- When replenishing light bulbs, going for LED or CFL's

- When painting, using low VOC paint

- Using only repurposed or found furniture, lighting, etc. throughout the office
